“I got married and became a resident, but the person I married didn’t want to fix my papers”

August 1, 2022 by no comments

My name is Isabel Guevara

The reason we’re here is because I just passed the citizenship test.

I feel wonderfully happy; I am so grateful to God and grateful to life for having put lawyer Jeanne Morales in my path.

JMA – How difficult was your process?

I got married and became a resident, but the person I married didn’t want to fix me

And there was the problem that I was afraid of with the papers because there in my portfolio it said that he had said that the marriage had not been consummated, so there were problems, that was my fear of becoming an American citizen

JMA – How did Jeanne Morales Attorney handle your case?

There were quite a few problems that she encountered that I didn’t even have considered.

She began to get into all my history, and she began to tell me: this happened here and this happened here

and I told her: “No, I’m not going to go, I’m afraid, and she told me why are you afraid, if I’m telling you that I’m going to represent you

But I cried, I canceled the appointment twice, I want you to know that I canceled it twice and she told me you can’t cancel it, I’ll be there with you

She fixed a lot of issues that were wrong:

My date of birth, things that had happened judicially

Things that I said, no, from there they are going to deport me, from there they are going to deport me

JMA – But now you are becoming an American Citizen. What can you say to your lawyer?

Thank you Jeanne Morales because I am grateful for everything you did for me, thank you very much; with all my heart I thank you.

Csongor Fábián was born in Hungary, but she moved to El Paso, Texas with his family when he was 13 years old.
After dealing with the language, he became a Green Card holder and a US Citizen in less than 10 years, all with the help of Jeanne Morales Attorney.
#ImmigrationLaw #NewUSCitizens #CallYourLawyer #WeCanHelp #JeanneMoralesAttorney

My name is Csongor Fábián.
And I moved to El Paso in the end of 2012.
So, I was around 13 years old when I moved here.
I moved because my mom got a job here, actually in Juarez, this company called Bosch, a power tool company
We moved because of that.
So, but she had to cross to Juarez every single day for work.
It was always our dream to get a citizenship, and we are so happy that we actually received it a lot faster than most people in the US, they can be here for decades, and they don’t get their citizenship and I have received mine in just less than 10 years

JMA – How difficult was your proccess to become a US Citizen?

It was very difficult in the beginning just because I learned English in Hungary, but not in this level. So I wasn’t really good at it
I just knew words, but I didn’t know how to put together like in sentences
So I had to learn that
I want to say the advantage for the people that is coming form South America they can speak Spanish here, most of the people they understand Spanish.
So, for me really nobody understood Hungarian
So I have to pick up English really quick.
After that it wasn’t very difficult, but it took time to get first of all a green card, which we received I believed like 3-4 years after we moved here.
And then we had to wait 5 years after we had our green card to apply for our citizenship
We did actually at the beginning of this year.

JMA – How close is your entire family to obtain the US citizenship?

Me and my parents we had the interview at the same time.
My sister had it yesterday; she already was here to have her oath ceremony and everything yesterday.
Now we are all waiting for my mom and my stepdad to have their oath ceremony, which should be in a month I believe.

JMA – What can you tell us about your Lawyer?

Jeanne Morales

If you ever want to come by, she is the best for immigration

“After years of domestic violence, now I have my green card”

August 3, 2020 by no comments

Zoila R. Virgen married a US Citizen 7 years ago, after she came to the United States with a Tourist Visa. But she was a victim of Domestic Violence and decided to escape from her abusive husband with support from the authorities.

Now she talks about her experience and struggles to finally become a Legal Permanent Resident with the help of Jeanne Morales Attorney

“It was a very bad experience marrying this person, everyday he did threaten me saying he was going to call La Migra, and also taking away my son”.

“He had everything under his control, he didn’t let me out, he didn’t buy me clothes, and also took away the money my family tried to give me to hire a lawyer to change my immigration status”

“I wanted to divorce, so I left him, but he managed to find me and sent a Sheriff officer, that same officer told me that I was a domestic violence victim, and gave me advice to look for official help and support”.

“I received psychological help, but changing my immigration status wasn’t easy, because my tourist visa term expired, but I was lucky enough to find Jeanne Morales, a friend told me about her, and everything is better than expected”

“After years of domestic violence, now I have my green card. I’m 44 years old, and I’m ready for a new beginning, blessed having my son with me, and with a green card to be able to work and give him all the things he needs.”

“Jeanne Morales Attorney and her staff, specially Marisa, were always very kind to me, always with a smile, that’s why I’m very happy, and I would recommend their services to anyone.”

“They did a lot for me, they gave me guidance, so the process was easy”

Cecilio Villalobos González took the oath to become a naturalized citizen of the United States.

Originally from Huatabampo, Sonora, Villalobos became a Permanent Legal Resident in 2011, and was naturalized as a citizen of the United States on June 7, 2020.

JMA – Tell us about your case to become a citizen of the United States

“Thanks to the help of the lawyer Jeanne Morales, my case was approved on February 12, I hoped that they would send me the appointment in the next or two months at most, but the pandemic went through”

“Fortunately, the ceremonies were restarted, although with very few people and with high security measures, in fact we did not take off our mask and we did not touch anything, I gave my green card in a drawer and the ceremony was very fast, very different from what people post and you see that they have somewhat big events in stadium or auditoriums.”

JMA – Was your ceremony very different then?

“It was in a conference room. Nothing to do with what I had seen before, everything lasted about half an hour and that included the security screens at the entrance, going through the metal detecting machine, taking off shoes, any metals that one may brought, and showing the document they sent us by mail and the green card in the distance.”

JMA – Was your procedure that fast in the whole process?

“My process to obtain the residence was delayed, I started it in 2001, I obtained it through my wife, but I fell into the hands of 3 people, one was not a lawyer and two people did not do me a good job and therefore I did not obtain my residence but until 2014, and now we accomplish my naturalization with the lawyer Jeanne Morales.”

JMA – How did you contact the lawyer Jeanne Morales?

“Perhaps it was luck, since I spoke to different firms looking for an immigration attorneys through web pages.

After contacting two lawyers, one did not give me confidence and the other was very expensive, so I did not dare to start the process with them,

But when I spoke to Jeanne Morales’s office, Mrs. María gave me a lot of confidence, explained everything very well, and that’s how they began to work my case.”

JMA – Were you satisfied with the work of the firm of the lawyer Jeanne Morales?

“Totally, in fact, the thought always came to me that it was a fairly cheap price, very accessible, to tell the truth.

“They did a lot for me, they gave me guidance, so the process was easy to the point that the whole process was very simple since I did not struggle at all.

I highly recommend them because they managed to have all the elements that were needed, it just took the time required and to pass my interviews.
Everything was very fast, they made it this way.”

¿Qué me van a preguntar?, ¿qué voy a hacer?

In the last few weeks, I had many thoughts in my head: if this happens to me, if the other happens to me, if they catch me for this or the other… What are they going to ask me? What am I going to do?

All that worry had disappeared like magic, everything is clearer now.

JM – The possibility of deportation disappeared from your life?

Well, I already feel calm, all the fears I had because of this, today they are finally gone definitely, with the interview I had, the officer cleared my doubts on those fears , everything is very good.

JM – What was the key moment to fix your immigration situation?

That is a very, very, very important point: Seek for the right professional help; there are many lawyers who just “eat your money”, thank God I had the opportunity to meet (Jeanne) Morales attorney.

For me she did something impossible, I thank God that we are here.

She took me from hell and brought me back to Glory.  All thanks to her.

I feel that if I had hired another lawyer, he wouldn’t have done what she did.

JM – Once you are close to be a Lawful Permanent Resident, what’s next in your life?

My wife, my wife perhaps is more anxious than I am to be able to fix her status.

We have the way open, this is a great opportunity for both me and her, and for the tranquility of our family

JM – What is your advice for those looking to regularize their immigration status in the country?

Get advice, get advice and if they can, do it the right way

“No podía haber esperado mejores resultados”

JMA Client

At the beginning I had another lawyer but I felt that lawyer wasn’t doing anything for my case, that’s why I came and consulted with Jeanne Morales Attorney and I liked the way she took care of us, I liked the trust she gave us, and she started managing the case.

JM – How complicated was your life when facing criminal charges, and being a permanent legal resident?

It is a burden that one carries, it doesn’t let you continue with the daily life, or even making plans; your living but not performing your best, because you always have those doubts: What will happen? When is it going to end? and what will follow?

JM – Your immigration status and your employment opportunities were compromised as well?

I could not leave the country; I could not work because the criminal record appeared in the archives, with that pending case.

JM – What happened to your case after the intervention of Jeanne Morales Attorney?

All charges were dismissed, removed, the prosecutor closed the case.

JM – How satisfied are you with Jeanne Morales Attorney services?

I am happy, very satisfied with the work that Jeanne did, I could not have expected better results.

– – – – – –
