Zoila R. Virgen married a US Citizen 7 years ago, after she came to the United States with a Tourist Visa. But she was a victim of Domestic Violence and decided to escape from her abusive husband with support from the authorities.
Now she talks about her experience and struggles to finally become a Legal Permanent Resident with the help of Jeanne Morales Attorney
“It was a very bad experience marrying this person, everyday he did threaten me saying he was going to call La Migra, and also taking away my son”.

“Fue una experiencia muy mala el casarme con este señor, todos los días me amenazaba diciendo que iba a llamar a La Migra, y que también se llevaría a mi hijo”.
